Conference Purpose

The purpose of this conference is to examine successful academic and health care partnerships and explore strategies to design innovative partnerships as an investment in the future of nursing.

Conference Objectives

  1. Appraise outcomes of intercollegiate and hospital partnerships that have increased enrollment capacity and graduation rates in registered nurse pre-licensure programs.
  2. Examine narratives of successful partnerships to understand the mechanisms of planning and implementing partnerships.
  3. Formulate creative approaches to collaboration among levels of nursing education and hospital partners.
  4. Generate innovative designs for robust and sustainable partnerships in collegial and engaging environments.
  5. Outline a vision for investing in future intercollegiate and hospital partnerships to promote expanded enrollment and increased preparation of entry level professional nurses.

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Anita Thigpen Perry School of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education Program is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Credit Statement:
